10 months old tomorrow!

Saide will be 10 months old tomorrow... only 8 1/2 weeks and she will be 1! I can't believe how fast the time has gone! I'm doing this post a day early because we are leaving (Just Jeff and I) for New York City tomorrow! I am so excited and know I will miss my buggy so much, but it will be so much fun! We will get to see Tawny & Paxton, who we haven't seen since January... and that was only for dinner! We are going to see Wicked! And I plan to do some GREAT shopping!!! I'm so glad that I've lost all my weight and now can actually enjoy shopping again! Watch out Jeff!!!

Anyways... I took Romo to be boarded today and weighed Sadie while I was in there. She is 19 lbs. 1 oz. and 29 1/4 inches long.

She now has 5 almost 6 teeth! 4 on top and 2 on bottom. She is saying Mama and Dada... but we don't think she knows which is which. Sometimes she will say Momo (Romo) and I know she knows who that is. She looks for him everytime she wakes up! Sadie can now stand... doesn't like to, but she can!

She likes to if it is against the wall or couch or our legs, but any other time she just screams! She is walking holding onto furniture and our hands! Her new favorite thing to do is look for toys in her toy chest.

We are loving every minute of her!!!

Happy Easter!

We had a great first Easter with Sadie! She woke up Sunday morning and snuggled in bed with us for a little bit. Then we showed her the basket the Easter Bunny brought her! She took a little while to look it all over, but then dove right in to playing with it all. She got a little bat and bals, a bummy, some Easter Pez, and a book of the Easter story.

Then we did our usual Sunday morning routine and headed to church. Our sermon was GREAT, as usual! After church, Jeff, me, Sadie, and Nana, went to my sister's house for lunch with Shannon, Steve, Leandra, Patrick, Mimi, and Poppy. Steve cooked brisket and beans! YUM! We watched the Masters, of course, and sat around and talked. By the time we got home, Sadie was exhausted and ready for bed... as we all were! It was a great day!

Our little fish!

We were in West Texas a few days ago and stayed in a hotel with a heated indoor pool. I was so excited because that meant Sadie would get to go swimming for the first time. I figured she would like it because she LOVES her bath time. Sure enough... it was a HUGE hit! She kept splashing and laughing at the water. She wanted to drink to too! I can't wait for summer to get here.... we will have a blast!
