Good news and bad news! Bad first!
I took Tripp in this morning for another Transbili test. His levels on his jaundice had gone back up. The dr. ordered a test to check if there were blockages in his gall bladder! I was terrified to think of my little 2 week old baby having to have surgery! No mom wants that! The good news, is no he doesn't and that he has gained 6 oz. in a week! The dr. said that it is probably breastmilk induced jaundice, due to us having different blood types, but he doesn't feel, at this time, that it is worth supplementing with formula. We go back again in a few days and have another transbili test done and hopefully the numbers are lower! If not, he said, we'll go from there. Please keep our little guy in your prayers!!!

Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas... wish we could have seen everyone, but with just coming home from the hospital and Tripp having to be under his biliblanket for his jaundice ALL day long, it didn't get to happen this year. Next year will be quite different I'm sure. I do hope, that soon we will have some set traditions that we do! This year, my sister had been staying with us to help me out while Tripp, Sadie, Jeff and I got adjusted. She doesn't think so, but she was a HUGE help! On Christmas Eve, it started snowing. The weather channels had not predicted we would get any of it, but we got TONS! My mom and Jim were in there truck and with 4 wheel drive they were able to make it here that night. Steve, Leandra, and Patrick (my sister's family) were not as lucky. After a close call with a 18 wheeler, they decided to pull off and stay at a motel for the night! They had to eat gas station burritos for dinner and breakfast! But, they did make it just in time for Christmas lunch!

Christmas morning we got Sadie and Tripp up and took them to see what Santa brought! Sadie was a lucky little girl. She had a stocking filled with bath toys, Santa must know how much she loves bath time! She also had a mini 4 wheeler and a stick horse! Both, she is still unsure about! She got lots of fun books, baby and baby stuff, a new backpack, clothes and tons of Elmo inspired toys! Tripp got his first ornament, a book, some clothes and some baby toys for his crib. Jeff and I got each other, well... a bill from the hospital! Merry Christmas, Monkey! Ha!

We had a great meal, then Mom and Jim hit the road (didn't want to get stuck on the roads when it re-iced over). Shannon and Steve stayed and we played Apples to Apples for awhile. They stayed the night in Brownwood so we could see them longer. All in all it was a great Christmas!

We're home!
We finally have interenet in the house! Yeah! Jeff asked me this morning if I had got on yet, you know, in all my free time! HAHA! We got home Sunday and yesterday we a a WHIRLWIND! Tripp is still jaundice, but as of today, getting better and so far does not have to go back in the hospital! He is on the biliblanket at home all day except during feedings. We thank God that this is working so far. Sadie is having a hard time adjusting, but I don't think it is so much to Tripp. I think it is more to the fact that we haven't been around and when we are, I'm not able to do too much. I'm recovering so much better this time than with Sadie. My c-section went great! I haven't felt too bad and have been able to do a lot more by myself this time. My sister is here, helping with Sadie and keeping the house together! She has been heaven sent! Tonight she cooked dinner for us... stew and corn bread! So good! Here are a few pictures from the hospital and on our first day home... enjoy :)
When Jeff got to hospital. He was in Temple for a meeting all day when I went into labor and had to drive 2 hours back.
Me meeting Tripp for the first time :)
Sadie meeting Tripp for the first time!
Sadie checking things out. She wanted so badly to sit in the chair, so we took Tripp out and let her have at it!
The best picture we could get at the moment ;)

Tripp-a-Dips arrival
Well, Wednesday, my friend Shea and I, along with Sadie & Anslee went to Abilene to get some last minute things for Tripp's room. It was a lot of fun and since Shea is from Abilene she could tell me about different little shops. We got home around 5 and then Jeff and I took a meal to a family in our class that just had a baby. When we got home, had dinner, and put Sadie down, I was exhausted. I took a warm bubble bath and went straight to bed. Thursday I was supposed to go to a jewelry party, but looked around the house and decided I had WAY too much to get done by next Tuesday. Jeff headed to a meeting in Temple, 2 hours away, and I started cleaning, organizing, and decorating anything in sight... All while having slight contractions about 10 min apart. At noon I decided to call Sheryl, Jeff's mom, and ask her to come stay with Sadie while I went to get checked out. It took her about an hour to get there, so we packed my bag, straightened my hair, and had some lunch. Then I headed up to the hospital. At first my contractions were every 3-7 minutes and not too strong... Then out of nowhere they were 1-2 minutes and very strong. By this time, Jeff was headed back and we knew that either tonight or tomorrow we would have Tripp. My mom and sister jetted out of Keller and got here about 5 minutes after I went in for the c-section. But as soon as they brought me out I got to see them. Everything went great! Tripper Allen Whitt was born at 9:32 p.m. on 12/17/2009. He weighed 6 lbs. 13.5 oz and was 19 in long. The c-section was great and we are all enjoying Tripp. Tomorrow, Nana, Mimi, & Chicher will bring Sadie up for her to meet her new little brother! I will post more soon. Oh, and come Monday, we will have Internet at our house, so be looking for LOTS of pictures and updates soon!!!

Yeah... We are in!
We moved in a week ago yesterday! I'm so thankful for my mom's husband, Jim. He came down Sunday night, slept on our couch, then heled pack and move us ALL day on Monday!!! The next day was he and my mom's 2 year anniversary, so he drove home at 9:30 at night just to be there with her on their day! Jeff was great too... He took off Monday through Wednesday yo get everything done and then on Saturday, all by himself, he moved the rest of the house! I should also mention our friends, Shea and Tyler, came and helped too!! We are basically all moved in except a few things in the garage. And, they think there us a renter for the house we were in. I will post pictures as soon as we get Internet service here... supposed to be the day before Tripp's delivery! Which, by the way, is in 13 days!!! Oh my!

House frustration!!
We have been told for quite awhile that we were on schedule to close before Thnksgiving, or the 25th. This was perfect because it gave us 5 days to move and lots of people to help. Well today is Thursday and we find our that we haven't been scheduled yet and that it might be possible to fit us in on Wednesday, but that it doesn't look good. If we don't close until the following week, we won't have as much help that weekend AND that puts us moving in 2 weeks before Tripp's c-section! I am asking fo any of you who read this to take z moment and pray that somehow we will still get to close on Wednesday next week! Thank you all!

Family Pictures!
A couple of weekends ago, we drove down to Fredericksburg and met our friends, Tawny & Paxton and their 2 kids, Channing and Jaxson! We had such a great time walking around and letting the kids play. Sadie had Croup the week before and hadn't left the house in several days, so it was great that she was feeling better and we could get out. We just LOVE Fredericksburg & its great because it is about an hour and 15 minutes from our house and the same from theirs. Tawny has started a photography business www.pocketfullofposes.org and offered to take our pictures for us! They turned out great, even though Sadie didn't cooperate all that much! I love them! Here are some of my favorties:

A date is set!!!
We had our 32 week appointment yesterday and everything is going great. I've only gained 14 lbs so far, so I'm right on track to gain the 20 goal I had! And we found out that I do NOT have gestational diabetes like I did with Sadie!!! A huge relief! I had really watched my diet closer this time, so I was hoping to not have to prick my finger 2-3 times a day!
We also scheduled the c-section date for Dec. 22! Meaning we should be home the 24 or 25... Just in time for Sadie's 2nd & Tripp's 1st Christmas! The doctor said unless he comes sooner. Let's hope not though because that is 6 weeks from today and we still have 2 1/2 weeks until we move into our house and I have lots to get do e to get ready for his arrival and have NO Christmas shopping done!!!

No more well water....
We are under contract on a house!!!! And as long as the inspections go well, by Nov. 30, we will live in town!!! Yeah! The house was built in 1958, so we are hoping there won't be any electrical, plumbing, foundation problems. It is a cute little house FULL of charm! Still had the original glass door knobs, but the previous owners re-did the bathrooms and kitchen... With a tiny bit of room for us to do some of our own updates. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, and a sunroom... Perfect size for an office. The backyard has trees and grass for Sadie to play! Plus, it is only a few houses down from the nicest park in town. The bedroom that will be Sadie's has a window seat with bookshelves on either side. Tripp's room is TINY, but we keep saying, boys don't need much room! :) Jeff and keep asking each other, "what are you most excited about?" Heres a few things on our list:
1. No more well water!! N
2. Clean cars, we won't have to drive down this dirt road!
3. Internet!!!!!!!
4. Jeff will be 5-10 minutes from his office!
5. The park!
6. No mold in the nursery!
7. Trash pick-up!!!
8. Sadie getting to go outside when she says, "ousie"!!!
Now, your job... Please pray that the inspection goes well and that we have great friends and family to help us move, since I will be 35 weeks pregnant!!!

Our week so far...
We have had a great time visiting my family in friends in the Keller area! Monday we got here just in time to get dinner aand a little grocery shopping done. Then it was off to bed! Sadie always does great sleeping in "new" places, as long as she has her noise machine, paci, and duck to sleep with. Tuesday we woke up, got ready, and took Sadie to Chicher's house where Leandra watched her while I got tires put on the car. What a FUN expense! I hate spending that kind of money on something that isn't the least bit fun! But, they needed it BADLY! Then we took Leandra to lunch to thank her for watching Sadie. Headed home and Sadie took a nap while I enjoyed 2 hours of NOTHING but blogging ;) Mom and Jim cooked us a great dinner of roast, brocolli, and cabbage... YUM! Yesterday, we picked up Joanna and her little boy, Jack (who is 1 year) and went shopping at Grapevine Mills Mall! I love that place! And it was so nice to get together with her. I remembered back to the days we would take "sick days" from work and go shopping and have sushi, my how times have changed! :) I miss her so much though. Then after naptime, Mom took me, Sadie, and Chicher (Shannon) to Ginger Brown's. SO good! They have the BEST rolls, all you can eat chicken and dumplings, and amazing cinamon rolls! I forgot to mention, every night we have been sewing up a storm, either for friends' babies, Sadie, or Tripp! I love it! :) Today, Sadie and I went to Joanna's and she played with Jack while us 2 mommies chatted! I could do that everyday! And they played so great together! I'm so upset I didn't take pictures! GRRR!!!

An update on Sadie:

Sadie is now 15 months old. She amazes us everyday! She is into EVERYTHING and has become a regular little monkey! She has 10 teeth now... we just went through cutting her top molars! YIKES! Her vocabulary is getting larger by the day. If you ask her, "what does a horse say?" She will tell you, "NEIGH"! So cute! We have been working on saying AMEN at the end of our prayers at night... and I can't wait for Jeff to get to my mom's on Friday to her that she has it mastered! We are just loving every minute of it! I can't believe how much she looks like a little person now! And, can you believe that in only 12 weeks, we will have another here? CRAZY! Life is good!
Our favorite spot!
Hello out there!
I know its been so long since I've posted anything! Sadie and I are at my mom and Jim's for a few days, while Jeff is in San Antonio for work. So, I actually can post! We don't have internet and the landlord wont let us have it installed since they would have to mount the equipment. Here are a few pictures of the house we are renting.

We are living out on 16 acres about 30 minutes from Jeff's office, not too bad, but we did get used to him working 2 minutes from home. We look forward to the day we move in town and have neighbors again. I know some of you think we are crazy for liking it in town, but we just aren't country dirt road "folks"! :) It is beautiful though, don't get me wrong. Very peaceful!!!

As we prepare to say goodbye...
Tomorrow the movers come to pack us up and take us to our new start! Jeff, if you know him well you get this, was being very sentimental about our house last night. I, being completely overwhelmed with everything that needed to be done, didn't even think about it. Until this morning! I started thinking about all the moments this house has had for us! We started our lives here, found out I was pregnant here, brought Sadie home here! We've had so many special moments, that yes, I could get so very sad about it... but truly, its exciting, because if there has been so many great moments here... just think... what will the next house bring??? We will bring Tripp home there, have many of his first moments there, and who knows what else. And then a day will come we move to our next home and start a new chapter there! I lived in the same house for 16 years growing up. Never thinking I would move and one day my mom decided, lets move 1 block down and 1 street over. Maybe thats why starting a new chapter is so exciting to me! Who knows! But, tonight will be our last night here! I hope that instead of being my "normal" self when I'm stressed out, I will sit back and enjoy these moments with my family! See you guys when we get settled into the next chapter... until then... God bless!

Half way there!
We have hit 20 weeks. It has flown by! Probably because we have a 1 year old to run around after! I feel like I am smaller than I was with Sadie, but truly its probably just that I'm carrying it different. Not to mention I'm not having a celebrity bakery cookie EVERY day and I only have 1 lunch a day... haha! But, no, I really have had a much easier pregnancy and thank the Lord every day. I don't know what I would have done if I felt like I did when I was pregnant with her! Yikes!
Where's Sadie??

A New Adventure
Jeff and I are about to embark on a new adventure that will move us to Brownwood in, get this, 9 days! Oh my goodness!!! Jeff will be the new Brown County Agency Manager for Farm Bureau. This will move us about an hour farther from my family and and hour away from his family! A great location! We have known for almost 2 weeks and have already got a lot taken care of. We have movers set to come in and pack us up... yes, my husband is wonderful and agreed to having movers pack us since I am pregnant and can't lift much. We have our house on the market to sell or lease. We have already had 3 or 4 showings in a week and a half. Hopefully something will happen with that soon. We sold our camper :( I'm sad about it, but its not something we got enough use out of and it would have been a headache to move! This morning we got word that the reantal house we wanted is ours! We are so excited! Brownwood, suprisinly, had hardly any rental homes for the size we needed. We had a lot of offers to lease a house that was for sale, but it would remain for sale! Not something either of us wanted to deal with. We will be about 15 minutes north of town in a very secluded area on 16 acres. It has a gorgeous view. Yesterday on our way back home we stopped by to look at it and as we pulled up to the gate there were two deer playing with each other. There are deer feeders all over the land! I can't wait for October to roll around and have them right outside our windows! I have already found a doctor. One of Jeff's agents' wife referred me to her doctor and it just so happens he used to practice with my old doctor when they were first out of school. Alot of the nurses in my office told me to tell him hi! Now its on to getting everything turned on out there... electricity, gas, water... and definitely CABLE :)

We are having a...
baby boy!! We found out today. The day I found out I was positive then it was a boy. Then throughout the pregnancy, this far, it has been so different from when I was pregnant with Sadie... no morning sickness, carrying different, feeling pretty good! So today, when we went in, sure enough! Its a boy! His name will be Tripper Allen Whitt, and he will go by Tripp. We are so excited to have one of each now!!!

Gymboree!!!
Sadie and I were invited to join Ian and Manon at Gymboree today. It is a lot like Little Gym or MyGym... which she always has loved! The second we got there, I put her down, she looked around and then looked up at me with a huge smile. She had a blast. Today was "tunnels day", but she had way more fun running after the balls and climbing on top of everything. At the end they have circle time and blow bubbles, sing songs and play with the parachute! She was in heaven! I took a few pictures of the free play... enjoy!!!

Watch out world!
We've got a walker! Sadie is doing so well. She still stumbles and falls, but most of the time gets right back up and walks some more. Its funny, because she looks quite a bit like Bambi trying to gain her balance!!! Our little bug is growning up!

Happy 4th of July!
We had the best 4th of July weekend! On Friday Jeff worked until noon and then we left for Fort Worth. We stopped for lunch at Which Wich (our favorite sandwich shop) and then got back on our way. We took Sadie to the zoo and walked around for about 2 hours. She loved the penguins most of all, I think! After we left, Sadie zonked out in the car and we drove around TCU area and looked at all the houses. We dreamed about what it would be like to own one of those gorgeous old homes! I just love them. Then we headed back up to Frisco, walked around the mall and had a cookie or two ;). After that we went to Boston's... I love Boston's!!! Jeff can have pizza and I can have whatever I please! GREAT compromise! By the time we got home Sadie had a bath and was off to bed!
On Saturday we had a lazy morning then after lunch went swimming for awhile. Came back home and we all took a nap. When Sadie woke up we got ready to go to Frisco Freedom Fest. It was UNBELIEVEABLY hot! We couldn't enjoy it at all. So what did we do? We ate some more! This time, On The Border! Sadie loves the bean and cheese nachos! We stopped and got ice cream on the way home and then off to bed. I wanted to watch the fireworks, but it would have been way to late for Sadie, so we watched them on tv... New York's were great!
I didn't take many pictures... with the heat, it was hard to do much of anything! But here are a few of Sadie before we left the house on Saturday!
