I'm so proud!

For the past week and a half Sadie has been so close to crawling. I told Jeff, I bet in the next week or two she gets it. Sure enough, a week and 3 days later... she got it! We were sitting in the office tonight and she kept wanting to get the tv wires. Finally, out of no where, she started crawling like a pro (well, a little wobbely)! I will have to post picuters soon... I left my camera at a friends house. I'm just so proud!!!

I'm so bummed...

Sadie learned how to wave today... she wants to do it NON stop! Its so cute! Good thing... we got it on camera. Bad thing... we can't figure out why it wont play on our computer. I wanted so badly to email it out and to put it on here! I wish I knew what I did wrong. Maybe I have the wrong type dvd? I know that it plays in our DVD player in the living room, just not on the computer. The computer doesn't even recognize that there is a disk in there. Maybe all you computer savy people can help!!! PLEASE :(

The picture is from a baby shower our Sunday School class threw for me and my friend Martha... our little girls were born about 3 weeks apart. We were playing a game where they had videotaped asking the guys the questions and we had to guess what they would answer. So cute! I can't believe how tan I am in this picture... I'm pregnant! I'm not now, and have NO color!!!

We lowered her crib

Tonight I put Sadie in her crib while I was working on some stuff in her room and I looked over and she was acting like she was trying to pull herself up. It hasn't happened yet, but I can just see in the middle of the night her waking up and that be when she decides to do it. So, to help me sleep better, I lowered it tonight. Afterwards I stood her up in it and here are a few pictures. She sure does love to chew on the rail!!!

Girls weekend

This past weekend, my mom, sister, and neice went to Fredericksburg for a little getaway! We were so looking forward to this trip for awhile! Jeff gets to go on fun "work" things all the time, so he said he would keep Sadie for the weekend and let me have some fun. It was his first time to keep her for more than just an hour or two by himself. His mom came up to help out, which made me feel better, but in the end he did great! Not to mention, he understands what it is I do all day and appreciates me even that much more :) Anyways... back to our trip! We left town Friday at noon and stopped in Stephenville to say hi to Deanna, Jeff's cousin. Leandra is wanting to transfer to Tarleton and I wanted to show her some stuff. Then it was back on the road again. We got to the Inn around 7 that night then headed out for a great dinner on Main St. Then we came back and sat in the hot tub by the fire pit outside! It was wonderful! Afterwards, we went back to the room, had some wine and played a few card games... then off to bed. The next morning we had breakfast and all got dressed for a chilly day of shopping! I had a blast. We stopped at noon for lunch. I had the BEST potatoe soup I have ever tasted!!!! Then, of course, more shopping :) Later, we went back to our room and relaxed a bit before dinner. That night we went to a bar where there was going to be a Patsy Cline cover band playing but by the time they came on we were worn out and ready to get in bed. Shannon, Leandra, and I laid in bed and watched movies. Mom didn't quite make it that long... she was sleepy. This morning we got an early start. We wanted to stop in Hillsboro at the outlets there. Not all that great though. I wish I would have pictures, but on Christmas Eve my camera broke! BUT... when I got home, Jeff had bought me a new camera. It is AWESOME! And he got a lense to go with it. He showed me some pictures he took of Sadie while I was gone... so enjoy :)

We have...

A Tooth! The past few nights Sadie hadn't been sleeping well, which isn't like her at all! We had been to her 6 month visit only a week before and the doctor didn't seen any teeth. We knew she was teething, but there was no sign of her gums actually cutting. Then all of the sudden yesterday I just wasn'ted to check the bottom gums. Sure enough, there was a tiny top to a tooth. Today it was even a little bigger. Its so crazy to me how fast she is growing. It seems like so long ago that she was born, but at the same time it seems like just yesterday. Does that make any sense to anyone? Well, anyways... she is doing better on sleep. At least last night she did... we will see about tonight. Hopefully that was just for a few days. Jeff is keeping her this weekend by himself, well, almost. His mom is coming up to help him out a little. I hope she sleeps good and doesn't make it hard on him.
