More Snow!!!

Yesterday it snowed all day long! It was so pretty and I wish I would have got some pictures before the snow started to melt! Jeff's office closed at 3 since the home office did as well. He came home and we got Sadie bundled up and took her out to play in it. She loves being outside, but I thought with how cold it was, she wouldn't be interested. I was WRONG! She loved it...

However, she wasn't a fan of touching the snow. Jeff made a big snow ball and tried to get her to see it, but she kept saying No, no, no...

Even though, yes, it was beautiful... I am READY for the warm weather and sunshine!

Happy Valentine's Day!

From our Party

From Valentine's

Tripper is already 2 months!!!

Where has the time gone?! Tripp turned 2 months on Wednesday. We went for his shots and well visit. He is now weighing 11 lbs. 4 oz. and is 22.5 in long, 50% on everthing. He gives us the cutest smiles, but we can never catch them on camera, sounds just like Sadie!!! He LOVES tummy time! And when we hold him, he likes to push up on his legs. He is a very easy baby like Sadie was... everyone told me he would be the opposite... NOPE! He coos all the time and likes to grunt. He is now eating 30 oz a day. I don't think Sadie ever ate that much!!! And sleep? Usually about 9 hours and then 3 more. A few night he has slept 11-12! That was when he was getting over the flu though. We do think he has reflux, though... which always breaks my heart when they spit up and you can tell it bothers them! All in all, though, he is just healthy as can be and such a joy!He sure does love watching sister play... thats where most of his smiles go!

AND...

Now Tripp has the flu as well!!

I hate being sick!

Well, it turns out, Sadie and I both have the flu! After getting all of our shots, dodging the church nursery, etc... we are sick! YUCK! We took Sadie to the dr. yesterday thinking that we both were dealing with allergies and that she had an ear infection, she had been poking at her ears and a low grade fever the night before. Well, after the doctor did flu tests on both of us, I was WAY wrong! I had figured that I just didn't feel great because of the whole sleep issues. Dr. Miller said that since we got our shots, it probably made the symptoms a lot milder. So, thats a plus! We both started Tamiflu yesterday, so by Friday morning we will not be contagious anymore. If we can only keep Tripper from catching it before then! I know flu in newborns is so serious, so I keep monitoring him. Not to mention, washing hands and using lysol on everything in sight! Please say a prayer that he doesn't catch it!

My little shoppers

The kids and I met Tawny and her kids in Austin at a mall this week. It was fun to see them, we hadn't in a couple of months, and to get some spring shopping done for the kids. We don't really have great stores here. We have a Bealls and JcPennys, but the ones here are small and don't have much of a selection. It was so nice to see a pretty nice mall, with just about any store you wanted... haha! We left around 9 a.m. and got there at 11:00. Sadie did great in the car. Just talked to her baby doll and pigglet doll. Tripp slept the whole way. When we got there, Sadie was so excited to see Channing and Jaxson. Jaxson is such a good little boy! He was able to get out of his stroller and wouldn't run off. If Tawny asked him to come back, he came! I was so impressed. If I let Sadie out, she would have been running wild! Channing is so sweet with Sadie and when we left Sadie kept crying for her. So sweet! On the way home, I stopped and got a Starbucks! What a treat! We got home at 6 (I missed a turn and went about 30 minutes out of the way), but Sadie and Tripp slept most of the way and did great! It was really nice to get away for the day and see some great friends!

Here is a picture of my "wild child" taking her shirt off! She's a mess!
