First off, Cooks is Ana maxing hospital! I'm blown away in how wonderful everyone treated us and how well we were take care of! I can't say enough good things!! But to what is more important...
We got pretty good news today. She feels like its possible it's nothing or there are 2 different blood disorders, one just being a Vitamin K deficiency. They did a huge blood work on him and now we wait 2 weeks for the results.

3 more days
Tonight I got the "conformation call" from Cook's for Tripp's appointment on Tuesday. 2 polar opposite feelings came over me. 1) Yay! Only 3 more days and we'll finally be getting some info. 2) Crap! In 3 days we'll finally be getting some info. We've waited almost 7 weeks since his first appointment and 6 months since I first saw that bruise. I have to say, I've learned patience! Not a lot of it, but a little ;) Please keep us all in your prayers, Tripp, me and Jeff, Sadie, and his medical care. I pray that his doctors and Tripp and me mesh well and that he is in good hands! Thank you in advance!

Lets go Pink Pixies!!!
Soccer season is starting and my little Sadie Bug has been looking forward to this for about 18 months now! And... even better... Jeff is coaching the team :) Jeff told me she pink the colors, HOT pink and black! And she wanted their names to be Princesses. Well, we are doing the hot pink and black, but we are naming them Pink Pixies. We had the girls and their parents over tonight and got to meet everyone. It was fun to see all the little girls and talk about what we expect for the season. Tripp is having a little trouble understanding that he doesn't get to play. He's really upset that he's not big enough! We told him he could be The Pink Pixies Equipment Manager ;) Although, I don't think he knows what that means, he made him happy to be part of it!!! Practices start in 2 weeks and games in 3 1/2! Can't wait!!!

Chicher came for a visit!
Thursday afternoon, my sister called and was talking about wanting to go do something. I said, "well, if you get in the car right now you'd be here by 7:00 and could stay 2 nights with us". She said, "well, what will we do?" I said, "just hang out." She said, "ok, I'm coming!" The kids had both been sick for about 3 days, so it was nice to have her coming to visit. We stayed up late talking and then spent the next day visiting and taking the kids to get stuff to make cookies and have lunch. She even unloaded my dish washer and reloaded it for me!!! Do I not have the BEST sister in the whole world?!?!

2 sick little babies
Well, we made it home Saturday evening and got all the laundry done and everyone unpacked. Sunday went to church, came home had naps and then Jeff and I took turns heading to the gym. After my turn, I came home to a sick little boy. No symptoms other than a 102 fever. That night after we all went to bed, about 11, Sadie came into our room and said she had thrown up.... all over her bed. The next several hours Sadie and I were up with her throwing up all night long. After 2 doses of phenegran, 4 a.m. she was finally asleep and not throwing anymore, but not eating either. Tripp woke up that morning burning up and no energy. He laid on the couch the entire day, took a 3 hour nap and ran a fever the whole day. Breaks a mommy's heart to see your babies sick. Well, last night he woke up thirsty and HOT at 3 a.m. He wanted to watch tv and snuggle. So... today we are headed to see Dr. Miller. Pretty sure Sadie is fine now. She's not eating still, but no fever and not throwing up. But, both kids are happy to go see Dr. Miller!!

How blessed I am...
I remember graduating college, ending a very long relationship, and buying my first home. That time in my life was huge! I changed so much in such a short amount of time. It was an exciting time for me to figure out who I was. I know college is when most do that. But college for me was so different. My father went home to be with the Lord and 2 grandparents followed & my mom moved from the town I knew has home my entire life. I think at that point it was a loss cause to figure myself out.
So there I was, 23 years old, just bought my first home, about to start my first teaching job. I went for a jog every morning and would think about exactly what I wanted my life to look like and what I needed to do to make that happen. Trust me when I say, I do not think I had it all figured out and I know I messed up a lot, but those jogs gave me a huge time to learn and grow!
Fast forward 9 years later. I am in a strong marriage that leans on God. My husband is a God fearing man who loves to dream with me and makes me laugh. I have 2 beautiful children I get to stay home with and we don't struggle to make ends meet. On those jogs, this is exactly what I pictured.
Now, for the human in me...
I seem to remember wanting this so very badly, but yet, it's lying right in front of me and I find every reason in the world to get frustrated, complain, want more. I'll be honest, I've never got to the point I want a hole new life. I still want this one, just want to gripe about it... That's just silly!
So, while I know it's "normal" to do this. I don't want to be normal... I want to be better than that. I want to learn to stop and think, to let go of my control, to appreciate, to watch my mouth...and attitude! After all, I prayed for this and this can all be taken away in the blink of an eye!

Our Final Day at Disney World
I'm sad to say, I didn't take any pictures today! We slept in this morning, greatly needed, and Jeff went down to Farm Bureau's breakfast buffet a few minutes before they closed for the morning and made a few plates for us. Then after eating and lounging around, we got dressed and headed to Typhoon Lagoon. They had the coolest kids area with tons of water spouts, slides, and even a little kids water ride! Sadie LOVED the ride! Tripp wanted to love it, but after one time around, decided it wasn't his favorite! We ate lunch there and then could tell Tripp was exhausted. We drove back to the hotel, laid down and let Tripp take a nap. Then when he woke up we walked across the street to the Downtown Disney area. They had tons of cool Disney shops and and restaurants. After shopping until we dropped, we came back got our swim suits on and lounged at the pool. Then we headed to dinner for some pizza and came back for some ice cream at the hotel. Now we just finished up packing our suitcases and are laying in bed watching Happy Feet Two. Tomorrow, we drive... a long long ways! :)
