What's new with The Whitts???

Well... we will be moving to Caddo Mills!  Jeff has been named the new Agency Manager for Hunt County.  This is a bittersweet move for us.  We've made some very dear friends in Brownwood and have really grown to know it as home.  But, this is a great opportunity for Jeff.  AND, we will only be an hour from my mom and sister, this was a huge selling point for Sadie.  She's excited that she can go visit Chicher this summer easily to work on their favorite hobby together, building Barbie furniture!  The next month or 2 will be a complete whirl wind... but, we'll get through it!

Today, Tripp turns 3!  It has been such a pleasure being his mommy and watching him grown!  Love you Tripp!!!!

During our Community Life Groups, Tripp & Adalyn, my friend April's almost 1 1/2 year old, got into the sunscreen and painted Tripp.  She was crying because it was on her feet and she was slipping.  Hope this isn't a sign of things to come!!!

And she did it again!!!

Yep, Sadie cut her hair again!!!  And her babysitter, Bailey, told us that she told her she wants scissors to cut more!

Breakfast with Santa

Can you Believe Santa and Mrs. Claus came to our church to eat breakfast with us?!?!  And I forgot the camera!!!

Thanksgiving and a kick off to Christmas

Thanksgiving was spent this year at Chicher's and Uncle Steve's in Keller.  And the food was exactly as expected... FABULOUS!  We spent the day with them and the kids had a blast!  That night we stayed at Mimi & Poppy's house, while they were enjoying the gorgeous Hawaii!!  The next morning we woke up, got ready and headed to the Gaylord in Grapevine.  We have made it a tradition to go every year around Thanksgiving for the past 3 years.  Before we would drive to San Antonio, but decided The Gaylord was better and closer.  And what's even better.... the Marriot bought it and that means we get our 2nd night free in Nov. since it's Jeff birthday.  We got to meet up with The Hurst family and visit with them... plus eat at a new pizza place, The Mellow Mushroom!  Definitely a new favorite!  That night Nana and Don came by to say hi and happy birthday to Jeff (his birthday was Sunday).  We sat on Santa's lap, enjoyed our gorgeous view, met all the Dreamorks team (Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, The Penguins, & Gingy).  The kids got to decorate gingerbread people too.  It was a really fun time!!

We decided to do Tripp's birthday a whole month early this year.  It seems that once Thanksgiving comes, things a a bit too crazy and busy, so lets have a great party before the crazy starts.  We had awesome weather and so many great friends come, plus Mimi and Nana!  Couldn't have asked for anything better!
