Good news and bad news! Bad first!
I took Tripp in this morning for another Transbili test. His levels on his jaundice had gone back up. The dr. ordered a test to check if there were blockages in his gall bladder! I was terrified to think of my little 2 week old baby having to have surgery! No mom wants that! The good news, is no he doesn't and that he has gained 6 oz. in a week! The dr. said that it is probably breastmilk induced jaundice, due to us having different blood types, but he doesn't feel, at this time, that it is worth supplementing with formula. We go back again in a few days and have another transbili test done and hopefully the numbers are lower! If not, he said, we'll go from there. Please keep our little guy in your prayers!!!

Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas... wish we could have seen everyone, but with just coming home from the hospital and Tripp having to be under his biliblanket for his jaundice ALL day long, it didn't get to happen this year. Next year will be quite different I'm sure. I do hope, that soon we will have some set traditions that we do! This year, my sister had been staying with us to help me out while Tripp, Sadie, Jeff and I got adjusted. She doesn't think so, but she was a HUGE help! On Christmas Eve, it started snowing. The weather channels had not predicted we would get any of it, but we got TONS! My mom and Jim were in there truck and with 4 wheel drive they were able to make it here that night. Steve, Leandra, and Patrick (my sister's family) were not as lucky. After a close call with a 18 wheeler, they decided to pull off and stay at a motel for the night! They had to eat gas station burritos for dinner and breakfast! But, they did make it just in time for Christmas lunch!

Christmas morning we got Sadie and Tripp up and took them to see what Santa brought! Sadie was a lucky little girl. She had a stocking filled with bath toys, Santa must know how much she loves bath time! She also had a mini 4 wheeler and a stick horse! Both, she is still unsure about! She got lots of fun books, baby and baby stuff, a new backpack, clothes and tons of Elmo inspired toys! Tripp got his first ornament, a book, some clothes and some baby toys for his crib. Jeff and I got each other, well... a bill from the hospital! Merry Christmas, Monkey! Ha!

We had a great meal, then Mom and Jim hit the road (didn't want to get stuck on the roads when it re-iced over). Shannon and Steve stayed and we played Apples to Apples for awhile. They stayed the night in Brownwood so we could see them longer. All in all it was a great Christmas!

We're home!
We finally have interenet in the house! Yeah! Jeff asked me this morning if I had got on yet, you know, in all my free time! HAHA! We got home Sunday and yesterday we a a WHIRLWIND! Tripp is still jaundice, but as of today, getting better and so far does not have to go back in the hospital! He is on the biliblanket at home all day except during feedings. We thank God that this is working so far. Sadie is having a hard time adjusting, but I don't think it is so much to Tripp. I think it is more to the fact that we haven't been around and when we are, I'm not able to do too much. I'm recovering so much better this time than with Sadie. My c-section went great! I haven't felt too bad and have been able to do a lot more by myself this time. My sister is here, helping with Sadie and keeping the house together! She has been heaven sent! Tonight she cooked dinner for us... stew and corn bread! So good! Here are a few pictures from the hospital and on our first day home... enjoy :)
When Jeff got to hospital. He was in Temple for a meeting all day when I went into labor and had to drive 2 hours back.
Me meeting Tripp for the first time :)
Sadie meeting Tripp for the first time!
Sadie checking things out. She wanted so badly to sit in the chair, so we took Tripp out and let her have at it!
The best picture we could get at the moment ;)

Tripp-a-Dips arrival
Well, Wednesday, my friend Shea and I, along with Sadie & Anslee went to Abilene to get some last minute things for Tripp's room. It was a lot of fun and since Shea is from Abilene she could tell me about different little shops. We got home around 5 and then Jeff and I took a meal to a family in our class that just had a baby. When we got home, had dinner, and put Sadie down, I was exhausted. I took a warm bubble bath and went straight to bed. Thursday I was supposed to go to a jewelry party, but looked around the house and decided I had WAY too much to get done by next Tuesday. Jeff headed to a meeting in Temple, 2 hours away, and I started cleaning, organizing, and decorating anything in sight... All while having slight contractions about 10 min apart. At noon I decided to call Sheryl, Jeff's mom, and ask her to come stay with Sadie while I went to get checked out. It took her about an hour to get there, so we packed my bag, straightened my hair, and had some lunch. Then I headed up to the hospital. At first my contractions were every 3-7 minutes and not too strong... Then out of nowhere they were 1-2 minutes and very strong. By this time, Jeff was headed back and we knew that either tonight or tomorrow we would have Tripp. My mom and sister jetted out of Keller and got here about 5 minutes after I went in for the c-section. But as soon as they brought me out I got to see them. Everything went great! Tripper Allen Whitt was born at 9:32 p.m. on 12/17/2009. He weighed 6 lbs. 13.5 oz and was 19 in long. The c-section was great and we are all enjoying Tripp. Tomorrow, Nana, Mimi, & Chicher will bring Sadie up for her to meet her new little brother! I will post more soon. Oh, and come Monday, we will have Internet at our house, so be looking for LOTS of pictures and updates soon!!!

Yeah... We are in!
We moved in a week ago yesterday! I'm so thankful for my mom's husband, Jim. He came down Sunday night, slept on our couch, then heled pack and move us ALL day on Monday!!! The next day was he and my mom's 2 year anniversary, so he drove home at 9:30 at night just to be there with her on their day! Jeff was great too... He took off Monday through Wednesday yo get everything done and then on Saturday, all by himself, he moved the rest of the house! I should also mention our friends, Shea and Tyler, came and helped too!! We are basically all moved in except a few things in the garage. And, they think there us a renter for the house we were in. I will post pictures as soon as we get Internet service here... supposed to be the day before Tripp's delivery! Which, by the way, is in 13 days!!! Oh my!
